Continuing my Washington travels, after photographing the Skagit Valley tulip fields I headed into the Cascade Mountains via US 2, the Stevens Pass Highway. At Wallace Falls State Park I hiked the trail as far as the Middle Falls viewpoint to get this photo. A nice solid overcast sky for soft light and plenty of water flow from Spring runoff made for ideal conditions for shooting waterfalls.
