Waldo Lake is a favorite destination in Oregon’s Cascade Mountains, especially for people from the Eugene area. Located almost on the crest of the Cascades, with the Pacific Crest Trail running nearby and a 21-mile hiking & mounain biking trail encircling the lake, Waldo is one of the purest lakes in the world – on a calm day canoeists and kayakers can see to a depth of 120 feet.
